Brushetta Chicken Bake

  • 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1-1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  1. PREHEAT oven to 400?F. Place tomatoes with liquid in medium bowl. Add garlic, stuffing mix and water; stir just until stuffing mix is moistened. Set aside.
  2. PLACE chicken in 13x9 inch baking dish; sprinkle with basil and cheese. Top with stuffing mixture.
  3. BAKE 30 min. or until chicken is cooked through
This recipe came from a Kraft Food & Family magazine a couple years ago. (though it may have been as long as 3 - 4 years) They repeated the recipe within the past year or so, because it was rated one of the top 10 recipes in the magazine. It's a good one!
