Buche de Noel Filling and Frosting
  • Filling and frosting:
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  1. Whip cream with vanilla and confectioners' sugar.
  2. Unroll cooled cake and remove towel.
  3. Spread half the filling over cake, being generous at edges.
  4. Roll up.
  5. Spread remaining whipped cream over the log and sprinkle with cocoa.
  6. Decorate with holly sprigs, if desired.
