Bumpy Road Brownies
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package brownie mix
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 ¼ cups peanut butter/chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped, honey roasted peanuts
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 deg.
- Spray Edge pan with cooking spray
- Prepare brownie mix as directed on package, except substitute peanut butter for ¼ cup of shortening or oil. Bake as directed, and remove from oven (do not turn off heat) five minutes before they are done.
- Sprinkle with marshmallows and chips, then return to oven to finish baking. When done, swirl marshmallows and chips lightly with a knife (leave some “bumps.”) Sprinkle with nuts and allow to cool. Cut into squares when cool.
- Yield: 24 bars
