Bumpy Road Brownies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 package brownie mix
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 ¼ cups peanut butter/chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chopped, honey roasted peanuts
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg.
  2. Spray Edge pan with cooking spray
  3. Prepare brownie mix as directed on package, except substitute peanut butter for ¼ cup of shortening or oil. Bake as directed, and remove from oven (do not turn off heat) five minutes before they are done.
  4. Sprinkle with marshmallows and chips, then return to oven to finish baking. When done, swirl marshmallows and chips lightly with a knife (leave some “bumps.”) Sprinkle with nuts and allow to cool. Cut into squares when cool.
  5. Yield: 24 bars
