Buttermilk Biscuits

- 2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 2 Teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 Cup margarine
- 1 Cup buttermilk
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a cookie sheet by spraying with nonstick spray. Combine all dry ingredients and mix well. Make a shallow depression in the middle and add all other ingredients. With an electric mixer, mix for 3 minutes. Place on a pre-floured surface and roll to 1/2 inches and use a donut cutter to form circles. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart and bake for 13-16 minutes.
