Butterscotch Icing
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2/3 dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Melt butter in medium-sized saucepan. Add brown sugar and whisk constantly for 5 minutes. Gradually add cream and continue whisking for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to large bowl, allow to come to room temp stirring constantly. Add powdered sugar and mix on medium speed. Add vanilla and beat well. Continue to beat additional 5 minutes
