CHEESY TACO SOUP

INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs of ground turkey (or your choice of ground meat)
- 2 gloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup of onion
- 2 tbs cumin
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 2 10 oz. cans of rotel (use plain diced tomatoes if you don't like spicy)
- 2 cans of kidney beans
- 2 cans of beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 12 oz. cream cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- In a crockpot, add the rotel, drained kidney beans, beef broth, and heavy whipping cream
- In a large pan, brown the ground turkey with the garlic and onion; drain.
- Add the cumin, chili powder, taco seasoning to the meat.
- Drop the cream cheese into the meat and stir until no more clumps
- add the meat mixture into the crockpot, stir and cook for 2 hours on low to absorb all flavors
- Serving suggestions: You can add cheese, sour cream, green onions, black olives, or anything for more taste
- Eat as a soup, or add tortillas to be more like a "dip"
