CONEY ISLAND SAUCE - MY FAVOURITE

INGREDIENTS
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 2 finely chopped medium onions
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne (or less)
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- water if necessary
DIRECTIONS
- Fry the chopped garlic and onions in the oil Add the hamburger and brown.
- Drain off fat.
- Add the other ingredients, except water, and simmer for 2 hours.
- If it is thickening too much then add water as needed to thin.
- Can be refrigerated for a couple of weeks.
- If not to be used that soon freeze in serving size containters
