CORN FRITTERS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks, well beaten
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 1 cup cream style corn
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix the first 7 ingredients together and beat until smooth.
  2. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  3. Fold in corn.
  4. Drop by tablespoons into hot fat and fry until done.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. **Can be eaten with maple syrup.

RECIPE BACKSTORY
I like fruit fritters and never had with a vegetable before. I figured as I like corn bread this should be pretty good
