Cabbage & Beef Soup
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey (or Meat of Choice)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Red Pepper
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1/4 Onion, Chopped
  • 4 stalks Celery, Chopped
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles
  • 1 can (from can of tomatoes) Water
  • 32 oz Reduced Sodium Beef Broth (or 4 Beef Bouillons and water)
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  1. *In large pot or dutch oven, brown meat and onion
  2. *Add all ingredients
  3. *Bring to a boil
  4. *Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 1 hour (you can add extra water if you want it more liquidy)
