Cabbage and Chicken Salad
  • 1 head of cabbage--shredded
  • 1/4 cup sesame seed
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 pkg. chicken Ramen dry noodle soup
  • 4-5 green onions
  • 4 chicken breasts, cooked and cooled
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  1. Toast almonds and seeds in oven. Cut up breasts into small chunks and add almonds and seeds, cabbage, and onion. (May be made ahead of time to this point.) Crumble Ramen noodles over the salad. For the dressing, mix together the seasoning from the soup with 1/2 cup oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1 tablespoon sugar, and salt and pepper to taste
