Cabbage side dish

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 head of cabbage slice up into coleslaw size pieces.
  • butter
  • 1 yellow onion
  • can of beer
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt butter in pan and add 1 yellow onion cut up. When onion is browning nicely add cabbage. Cook for about 10 minutes. Add a can of beer. (I like dark beer best) and simmer for about an hour or until tender. You can put this over egg noodles if you like or eat plain. YUMMY!
