Candied Nuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup half and half cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 c. whole nuts, you choice
  1. Put all sugar and half and half into saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. (240 degrees on candy thermometer) Forms a soft ball in cold water.
  2. Add vanilla and nuts.
  3. Stir until coated.
  4. Spread onto wax paper. Cool.
