Candied Walnuts

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup. whole walnut halves
  • 1/4 granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, and sour cream in a saucepan; cook to soft ball.
  2. Cool to lukewarm.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Stir in nuts until all are well coated; dump out onto aluminum foil, breaking nuts apart. Cool.
