Caramel Corn

  • 2 Bags microwave popcorn, popped
  • 1 Stick salted margarine
  • 1 1/2 Cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  1. Place a stick of margarine into a heated saucepan at medium high heat. Melt and add brown sugar. Whisk continuously to combine, until it starts to bubble. Let the caramel bubble for another 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the baking soda. Empty microwave popcorn into a large paper bag that is clean and the bottom is sealed. Immediately pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn, close bag and shake vigorously. Pour into a large serving bowl and sprinkle with salt
