Caramel Macchiato Cake
  • Cooking Time: 40-45 minute bake time
  • Servings: 12
  • Preparation Time: 15-20 minutes
  • GGFG yellow cake mix (or cake mix of your choice)
  • made according to package directions
  • 1 t. caramel extract (optional)
  • 1/2 c. Caramel Macchiato Coffee drink (either your own or store bought)
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped with 1/4 c. sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • 1/4 c. caramel sauce, your own or store bought
  1. Bake cake according to package directions, adding optional caramel extract. Let cake cool completely, then using a wooden dowel, poke holes all over cake. Pour Caramel Macchiato drink evenly over top of cake. Chill. Meanwhile beat cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread cream over top of cake. Drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve. Refrigerate leftovers.
