Caramel Pecan Sauce
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbs. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except vanilla.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Boil 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  5. Cool slightly to thicken.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
  7. Makes 1-2/3 cups.
