INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 3 Dz.
  • 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 jar (12-1/4 ounces) caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt.
  2. Stir in butter; mix well.
  3. Press into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until set.
  5. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  6. Combine caramel topping and remaining flour until blended; drizzle over chips.
  7. Sprinkle with nuts.
  8. Bake 20-22 minutes longer or until bubbly.
  9. Cool completely; cut into bars.
