Carrot & Sweet Potatoe Tzimmis
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 Carrots
  • 3 Sweet Potatoes (peeled and sliced)
  • 2 Apples
  • 1 Cup Prunes OR Apricots
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Cup Water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook carrot & sweet potatoe til tender, peel core and slice apples. Oil 5 Qt caserole dish. Arrange all in layers, seasoning each layer. Add water, cover and bake for 30 minutes, or until tender. Remove cover and brown.
