Cheese Ball with Dill
  • Preparation Time: 2 hours
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2/3 cup chopped salami
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (Miracle Whip)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cups finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
  1. Combine first 6 ingredients until smooth; cover and chill until firm ( I chill for about 2 hours, longer if I have enough time). Shape into a ball; roll in mixture of nuts and parsley.
My aunt used to bring this to every family picnic. Was never any leftovers.
