Cheesecake Factory Oreo Cheesecake
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1-1/2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 container (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 5 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 10 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped, for garnish
  1. Mix melted butter with Oreo crumbs and press into bottom and sides of a buttered springform pan. Cover and set aside.
  2. Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar while beating with the mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, while beating with the mixer. Add flour, vanilla, and salt, while beating with the mixer. Add sour cream while beating with the mixer. With a spoon, stir in 5 chopped Oreo's. Pour mixture into pan with crust and sprinkle with 10 chopped Oreo's.
  3. Bake on the top rack of a 325ºF oven for 75 minutes. Prop open the oven door and let cheesecake sit in cooling oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and allow to cool before refrigerating. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. NOTES : All ingredients should be at room temperature before preparing for best results.
