Cherry Coffee Cake

  • 2 c flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1 egg plus milk to make one cup
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Topping: 1 c flour, 1 c sugar, 1/2 c margarine
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder and cut in margarine with pastry blender. Break egg into cup and fill with milk. Add to first mixture and beat well. Pour batter in a large greased pan. Spoon pie filling over batter and top with the combined topping mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
