Cherry Squares
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 40 - 45
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4+ salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 can cherry pie filling
DIRECTIONS
- Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs one at a time and the extracts.
- Separately combine dry ingredients, then add to batter and mix well.
- Put about half the batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
- Spoon the pie filling over the batter in even blobs.
- Spoon the remaining batter over the pie filling. Don't worrry about covering all of the pie filling.
- Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees.
- Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
