Chicken Almond Dish (aunt Jens)

INGREDIENTS
- 5 cups diced,cooked chicken breasts
- 2 cups diced celery,optional
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.)can sliced water chestnuts
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- topping:
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 3 cups crumbled corn flakes
- 2/3 butter,melted
DIRECTIONS
- mix all ingredients and put into buttered 9x13 baking dish.
- topping:
- mix ingredients and sprinkle on casserole.bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.can be prepared ahead and refigerated until baking.
