Chicken Briyani

INGREDIENTS
  • Chicken 250 gm (1/2 lb)
  • biryani rice 250 gm (1/2 lb)
  • garlic 1 medium
  • onion 3 medium
  • ginger
  • chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • sunflower oil 3-4 teaspoon
  • ghee 2 teaspoons
  • 3-4 cardamom
  • salt as per taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Marinate chicken with garlic, ginger, chili, salt for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook marinated chicken for 20 minutes.
  3. In a pressure cooker fry the onion in ghee and add rice and fry till 5 minute
  4. Mix cooked chicken with fried rice in a pressure cooker and add water as per measurement and cook till 1 whistle.
  5. Garnish with tomato and carrot slices and curd, serve hot to taste better.
