Chicken Paprikas

  • Chicken
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Pam Spray
  • 1 t. paprika
  • 4 to 5 lbs chicken w/o skin
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pt. low fat sour cream
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 to 2 T. flour (to thicken)
  • dumplings
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Chicken Paprikas:
  2. Brown onions in Pam cooking spray. Add seasoning and chicken. Brown 10
  3. min. add water. Cover and simmer slowly til tender. Remove chicken. Add
  4. low fat sour cream to drippings. Mix well. Mix flour w/ a little cold
  5. water. Add to thicken. Add dumplings and chicken.
  6. DUMPLINGS:
  7. 1 c. flour
  8. 2 beaten eggs
  9. 1/4 c. water
  10. 1 T. salt
  11. Mix. Scrape bits of dough from a plate into boiling water. Cook 15 min.
  12. Drain.
