Chicken Rice Mix
  • 4 cups uncooked long grain rice
  • 1/4 cup chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dried tarragon leaves
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tsp dried minced onions
  1. Stir all ingredients in a large bowl until evenly distributed. Put about 1 1/3 cups into three ziplock baggies and label as "Chicken Rice Mix". Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 to 8 months. Makes about 4 cups of mix.
  2. To use: Mix 1 1/3 cups Chicken Flavored Rice Mix with 2 cups cold water and 2 Tbsp butter in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cover pan and reduce the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
