Chicken Sausage and Artichoke Heart Pizza

- 2 chicken sausage links
- 1/4 red onion
- 1/4 red pepper
- 1/2 cup artichoke hearts
- 1 pizza crust
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 425° F.
- Meanwhile, cut the chicken sausage into bite-sized pieces and cook in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cut the onion into small slivers, the peppers into thin strips, and the artichoke hearts into chunks.
- Generously spread the pizza sauce onto the crust. Sprinkle on the grated mozzarella cheese, and add the remaining toppings as desired. The basil leaves will shrink significantly while in the oven, so apply generously.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes and enjoy.
