Chicken and Noodles
  • Whole Chicken
  • garlic salt
  • chili powder
  • season salt
  • garlic powder
  • bay leaf
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • Noodles:
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 t. salt
  • 1/4-1/2 c. water
  1. Put flour, yolks, egg, and salt into a bowl and mix with hands. Slowly add water by tablespoon full until dough can be formed into a ball. Allow dough to sit for at least 10 minutes. Seperate into 4 parts. Using flour, roll out each section until it is very thin and long. Use a pizza cutter to cut noodles. Place noodles aside and allow to dry at least one hour before adding to soup.
Another one of my mom/grandma's recipes. So simple, but it is one of my favorite comfort foods.
