Chili spaghetti

  • 1/2 lb of ground beef
  • 1 carrot diced
  • 1 celery stick diced
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • can of tomato sauce
  • can of kidney beans
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon Mexican oregano
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • twisty noodles 1/2 package
  • 1/2 tbsp of salt
  • 1/2 tbsp pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp of garlic salt
  • 1/2 tbsp of cumin
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sprig of cilantro chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Step 1-dice up celery, onion and garlic and cook in medium skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Step 2-Add meat to pan and let it brown with vegetables.
  3. Step 3-Once browned, add tomato sauce, beans and a cup of water.
  4. Step 4- let it bring to a boil and stir occasionally.
  5. Step 5- While the chili cooks, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for about 8 minutes.
  6. Step 6-After 8 minutes, drain pasta and rinse off with cold water.
  7. Step 7-Add pasta to chili and stir well.
  8. Step 8- let pasta cook with chili for about 5 minutes.
  9. Step 9-melt cheese on top of pasta with lid on.
  10. Step 10-Serve with chopped cilantro on top and enjoy.
