Choc. Glaze Mini Baked Doughnuts (lab)

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/8 c vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp + 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c all purpose four
  • 1/2 c milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1) preheat oven to 425 and grease doughnut pan with cooking spray
  2. 2) Mixing bowl, beat butter, veg. oil, and sugars until smooth
  3. 3) add egg, beating to combine
  4. 4)stir in baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla
  5. 5)Stir in flour in mixture alternatively with milk (start and end with flour) making sure everything is combined (will result in thick batter)
  6. 6)spoon batter in in pan, filling 1/4 inch shy of rim
  7. 7)Bake for 10 minutes, remove and wait 5 mins before turning them out of pan
