Chocolate Buttercream

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 oz (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsweetned cocoa powder
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 3 - 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and cocoa powder on low speed until soft and well combined. Add confectioners' sugar, 3 tablespoons milk and vanilla and continue to beat on medium speed until light,fluffy and well combined. Add 1 - 2 tablespoons milk if frosting is too stiff
