Chocolate Chex Caramel Crunch Mix
  • 8 cup Chocolate Chex Cereal
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 6 Tbsp Butter Or Margarine
  • 3 Tbsp Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 cup White Chocolate Chips Or Semi-Sweet
  1. *Into large microwave-safe bowl, measure cereal; set aside and line cookie sheet with waxed paper
  2. *In 2-cup microwave-safe measuring cup/bowl, microwave brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup uncovered on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until melted and smooth
  3. *Stir in baking soda until dissolved and pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated
  4. *Microwave on High 3 minutes, stirring every minute, and spread on cookie sheet
  5. *Cool 10 minutes and break into bite-sized pieces
  6. *In small microwave-safe bowl, microwave vanilla baking chips uncovered on High about 1 minute or until chips can be stirred smooth (bowl will be hot)
  7. *Drizzle over snack and refrigerate until set
  8. *Store in tightly covered container
