Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • chocolate chips to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator overnight (this step is optional, but recommended)
  4. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown. (For a pan cookie, 20-25 minutes)
