RECIPE BACKSTORY
Friday was my god-daughter, Breanna's 15th birthday and she requested chocolate chip cookies. I went to the Nestle Toll House website and found this recipe. I didn't realize until it was time to add the vanilla that I didn't have any so I used almond extract. I don't know if it was the almond extract but the cookies were so good that I said, what is that taste? It was different and delicious! The texture of the cookies were almost cake like and very moist!
