Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease a cookie sheet.
  3. Put margarine, egg, vanilla into a large bowl and mix.
  4. Add and blend granulated and brown sugar together.
  5. Sify flour, baking soda and salt into small bowl.
  6. Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
  7. Mix well, stir in chocolate chips with wooden spoon.
  8. Divide dough into two parts.
  9. Drop dough from teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet.
  10. Bake 8-10 minutes until lightly browned.
  11. Let cool on wire racks.
