Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Servings: 5 dozen cookies
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups (12oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine flour, soda and salt in a small bowl. Cream butter, sugars and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  2. Bake in preheated oven @375 for 9 to 11 minutes or golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
