Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 8 to 10
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup soft butter or shortening
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon water
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 6 ounce package chocolate morsels
DIRECTIONS
- Combine butter, sugars, vanilla, water and eggs and beat until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients to blend well.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees, while dropping dough by teaspoons on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake 8-10 minutes, before removing to a rack to cool.
