Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp Calumet Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 5 oz. Bakers Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 3 tbsp canola oil
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Microwave chocolate and oil in large microwaveable bowl on high 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add granulated sugar; mix well. Add eggs. 1 at a time, beating well after each addition; stir in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until blended. Refrigerate 30 minutes, or until dough is easy to handle.
  2. 2. Heat oven to 350 F. Shape dough inch 1-inch balls; roll in powdered sugar until evenly coated. Place 2 inches apart, on baking sheet.
  3. 3. Bake 9 to 11 minutes, or until centers are set. Cool for 1 minute on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks. Cool completely.
