Chocolate Malt Brownies
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (11.5 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1-3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. instant malted milk
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. malted milk balls, coarsely chopped
DIRECTIONS
- Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch rectangular pan.
- Heat milk chocolate and margarine in 3 quart saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted.
- Remove from heat.
- Cool slightly.
- Beat in sugar, vanilla, eggs.
- Stir in flour, malted milk, baking powder and salt.
- Spread batter in pan.
- Sprinkle with malt balls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for ;30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely and slice.
