Chocolate-Marbled Pistachio Cake
  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix
  • 1 package (4 serving size) Jell-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 10-inch tube pan; set aside.
  2. In large mixing bowl combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, water, and orange juice. Beat with electric mixer on medium to high speed for 5 minutes. Pour two-thirds of batter (about 3 1/3 cups) into prepared pan. Stir chocolate syrup into remaining batter (about 1 2/3 cups). Pour chocolate batter evenly over pistachio batter. NOTE: Do not stir chocolate batter into plain batter.
  3. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired OR drizzle top of cake with fudge glaze.
