Chocolate Peanut Butter Candy Bars

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pkg. (18 oz) devil's food or dark choc. cake mix
  • 1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine; melted
  • 1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts
  • 4 pkgs. (1 1/2 oz each) choclate peanut butter cups; coarsely chopped
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease 13x9 inch baking pan.
  2. Beat cake mix, evaporated milk, and butter in a large bowl with
  3. electric mixer at medium speed until well blended. (Dough will be
  4. stiff). Spread 2/3's of dough in prepared pan. Sprinkle with peanuts.
  5. Bake 10 minutes; remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped candy.
  6. Drop remaining dough by large spoonfuls over candy. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until set. Cool completely on wire rack.
