Chocolate Slices
INGREDIENTS
  • 125g margarine
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • FOR ICING
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa
DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt margarine. Add the rest of the ingredients in the following order mixing completely as you go. Add sugar, then cocoa, then coconut, then flour, then vanilla essence.
  2. Make sure everything is mixed well, then press into a flat slice tray.
  3. Bake in moderate oven 15 minutes.
  4. Ice with chocolate icing, while still hot. Put into fridge for Icing to set.
  5. When slice has cooled, take out of fridge and cut into slices.
