Chocolatey Chewy Brownies

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 eggs beaten.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1oz cubes unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour.
  • 1/4 cup nuts if you choose
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
DIRECTIONS
  1. grease and flour a 6X8 pan.
  2. Beat 2 eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt together.
  3. heat unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat till melted.
  4. Mix egg mixture and chocolate together.
  5. Mix in flour. Add nuts if you prefer.
  6. Pour mixture into the pan and cook for 18 to 25 minutes. When a toothpick can be inserted and removed cleanly from the middle its done.
  7. My Mother used to make these for me. They are dense chocolate brownies. They always turn out chewy and have a rich chocolate taste. I never out grew my sweet tooth, and these certainly cater to that. I was told to tell you they are more candy like than cake like
  8. Let cool and serve
