Chocolatey Chewy Brownies
INGREDIENTS
- 2 eggs beaten.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1oz cubes unsweetened chocolate
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons flour.
- 1/4 cup nuts if you choose
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
DIRECTIONS
- grease and flour a 6X8 pan.
- Beat 2 eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt together.
- heat unsweetened chocolate and butter over low heat till melted.
- Mix egg mixture and chocolate together.
- Mix in flour. Add nuts if you prefer.
- Pour mixture into the pan and cook for 18 to 25 minutes. When a toothpick can be inserted and removed cleanly from the middle its done.
- My Mother used to make these for me. They are dense chocolate brownies. They always turn out chewy and have a rich chocolate taste. I never out grew my sweet tooth, and these certainly cater to that. I was told to tell you they are more candy like than cake like
