Christmas Pickles

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 c sliced cukes
  • 1 lg thinly sliced onion
  • 3 small thinly sliced carrots
  • 1 c sliced celery
  • 1 sweet red pepper sliced
  • Place veggie in colander and drain 30 minutes.
  • Brine
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 c vingar (white)
  • 1 tsp celery seed
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Combine brine with veggies and pack in cold jars. Close tightly and place in fridge. Ready in 3 weeks. Enjoy!!
