Chunky Pecan Bars

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup firm packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chunks
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine flour and sugar
- Using pastry blender or 2 fork, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
- Press into 13x9x2 baking pan. Bake 15 minutes
- Part 2
- In a medium bowl whisk together eggs,sugar,syrup, and melted butter. Add vanilla
- Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts
- pour over baked crust.
- Bake 25 minutes
- Cool and cut into bars
