Classic Deviled Eggs My Way
  • 8 large hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons minced chives
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 11/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • Dash cayenne pepper
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Paprika
  1. Boil eggs and peel soon after done . Its easier to peel and hard boiled egg when it still warm.
  2. Peel the eggs and cut them lengthwise in half. Remove the yolks and place in a small bowl. Mash the yolks until smooth and add the mayonnaise. Mix until a smooth paste forms. Mix in the chives,mustard, cayenne, and salt and pepper to taste. Spoon the mixture into the egg halves, or pipe using a pastry bag and star tip. Dust lightly with paprika. Cover and refrigerate for up to 8 hours before serving.
Don't forget the Salt and Pepper!!!!
