Coconut Ladoo
INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut for coating
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tsp rose syrup OR Rooh Afzah
  • 1 tsp clarified butter
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
DIRECTIONS
  1. Add clarified butter in a pan, once it get heated add desiccated coconut and roast continuously for 40 – 50 sec on low flame.
  2. Now add condensed milk and rose syrup.
  3. Mix everything and cook for another 2 – 3 minutes on low flame.
  4. Stir continuously to avoid burning.
  5. If you don’t have rose syrup you can skip it to make plan coconut ladoo.
  6. Add cardamom and give a final mix.
  7. Turn off the stove immediately transfer the mixture to any plate. Let it cool for 3 – 4 minutes.
  8. Now take a small portion of a mixture in hands and make a round ball. Coat it with desiccated coconut.
  9. Rose flavored Coconut Ladoo is ready to serve.
