- 1.5 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut for coating
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 tsp rose syrup OR Rooh Afzah
- 1 tsp clarified butter
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
DIRECTIONS
- Add clarified butter in a pan, once it get heated add desiccated coconut and roast continuously for 40 – 50 sec on low flame.
- Now add condensed milk and rose syrup.
- Mix everything and cook for another 2 – 3 minutes on low flame.
- Stir continuously to avoid burning.
- If you don’t have rose syrup you can skip it to make plan coconut ladoo.
- Add cardamom and give a final mix.
- Turn off the stove immediately transfer the mixture to any plate. Let it cool for 3 – 4 minutes.
- Now take a small portion of a mixture in hands and make a round ball. Coat it with desiccated coconut.
- Rose flavored Coconut Ladoo is ready to serve.
