Coconut joys
  • Servings: 36
  • 1 stick of butter or margarine
  • 3 cups of coconut flakes
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 2 squares (2oz.) unsweetened choclate, melted
  • (I usually use semi sweet nestle's)
  1. Melt butter in sauce pan. Remove from heat.
  2. Add powered sugar and coconut, mix well.
  3. Shape rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls. Make indent in center of each and place on cookie sheet.
  4. Fill centers with melted choclate.
  5. Chill until firm.
  6. Store in refrigerator.
  7. Makes 3 dozen
