Cookie Cobbler
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups peaches or pears cut into chunks
- 2 tab. brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tab. baking powder
- 1/2 sp. salt
- 1 cup flour
DIRECTIONS
- preheat oven to 400.
- Cream the butter and sugar.
- Add the eggs and Vanilla.
- Sift in the dry ingredients.
- Cut up the peaches and layer in a baking dish.
- drop spoonfuls of batter on top of fruit.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until brown and golden. This dessert is excellent with vanilla ice cream.
