Cookie Salad
INGREDIENTS
  • Servings: 10
  • 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip®. thawed
  • 1 large can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • small bunch of green grapes
  • bananas
  • 14 - 17 fudge striped cookies
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix instant pudding with milk & vinegar.
  2. Add whipped topping.
  3. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  4. Add pineapple and other fruit.
  5. Refrigerate.
  6. Just before serving, crush cookies and sprinkle on top.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
This recipe was taken from the Taste Section of the Mpls. Star Tribune paper back in the 70's I think. It was all the rage then. Try other fruits as well!!
